Noise pollution is  the harmful effect of  discomforting sounds generated from  the activities of living creatures or from  various technologies which negatively impact the habitat of human, animal and plant life in one’s general surroundings.

Noise pollution impacts   the environment several ways.An example of   a source of noise pollution is   military sonars.Sonars have caused intense sounds responsible for the destruction of thousands of whales during major international wars.
