Stargate SG1 Returns to Netflix

Indeed fans of Stargate have more to celebrate with Stargate SG1 returning to Netflix in the US and other international markets effective February 15^th 2026 for all of its 10 seasons.Netflix had removed Stargate SG1  in December 2022 when Amazon had bought the rights to air it and acquired MGM.

While this is cause for celebration, it should be noted that  Stargate SG1’S spinoff series, Stargate Atlantis and Stargate Universe remain exclusively available on Amazon Prime.

Last month it was announced that Martin Gero would be leading a new Stargate spinoff in the same canon.  The writing team will be convening in January to flesh out the storylines of the inaugural season. Click here for more news about this and stay tuned for further details as they emerge.
